4 Electronic Time Capture Device
About 2 decades ago, the most advance time capture device known to man was the Bundy Clock.  It is almost mechanical, so it hardly fails to perform as expected.  You will see a lot of punch cards lined up on the wall near the Guard’s post, so the Guard will see whether the person punching really owns the card he is punching.
