ACLT Fed Over 1500 During Earth Day Celebration
As a gesture of the company’s continued commitment to preserve and protect Mother Earth while giving thanks to continued business success, ACLT threw its all-out support to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee of People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) in sponsoring the Earth Day Celebration by Feeding more than 1500 street children, the elderly and less privileged individuals around Malate area of Manila.
With the initiative of ACLT Computing Inc’s COO Ms. Pinky C. Abanes, the company was able to stir support from its Prime Users Club Members. The Club was organized by ACLT Computing some 8 years ago exclusive for HR, Accounting, Finanace and I.T Departments of more than 100 of the Top 500 Corporations in the country that had been continuously using Prime HRIS.
Unilever Philippines and Philippine Seven Eleven spearheaded the Clients in heeding the call for Corporate Social Responsibility. Unilever Philippines gave away hefty gift packs while food items were distributed by 7-11 Convenient Stores. Together ACLT and Prime Users fed more than 1,500 street children, elderly and the less privileged organized by the Malate Catholic Church.
“This year is ACLT’s 2nd year in conducting the Feeding Program and we felt fulfilled and happy to see that the company was able to share its bountiful blessings by extending our arms thru the feeding program. We may not be able to feed them for a lifetime but at least we spared a day of hunger” says ACLT COO and Chairman of PMAP CSR- Committee on Feeding Program Pinky Abanes.
